Problem:
teens& young adults need a way to learn essential life skills not taught in school.

Solution: provide young users with quick and easy lessons that teach essential life skills.

Interview Plan
Conduct semi-structured interviews with people that exhibit similar behaviors/characteristics as the proto-persona. Screening questions will be used to select potential candidates. Interview will contain 17 open-ended questions.

       key questions:

      ● How confident are you in your ability to navigate           adulthood?

      ● Are there any skills you wish had been taught to you in          school that you think may have been useful to you later          in life?
    
     ●  What aspects of adulthood do you feel the least           confident about?

       Tasks
         ●    Create an account with Lifeable.
         ●    Navigate to the W2 Form lesson.
         ●    Complete the mini-tutorial.
         ●    Finish the W2 Form lesson.

Scenario: You are looking to learn more information on W2 forms using the app Lifeable. You want to complete one lesson on W2 forms.


User testing Notes


Our user testing demonstrated that 100% of users were able to complete the required tasks. However, users did provide applicable feedback that we were able to implement in our high-fidelity prototype.


User feedback & recommended solutions:

Users struggled with tapping on the back button Recommendation: Change the size or shape of the back button to make it more tappable.

Users were unsure of where to find the W2 form lesson
Recommendation: Implement a navigation bar with a search option

Users felt the tutorial pop-ups were too small Recommendation: Change the size of the tutorial pop-ups to be more accessible.

Final Thoughts


In conclusion, the case study highlights the importance of understanding user needs and providing a seamless user experience. By leveraging user feedback and continuously iterating on the product, we were able to gather enough insight on how this app would perform and what it needs to achieve success and continue to increase its user base. Additionally, the case study emphasizes the importance of effective marketing strategies to increase app visibility and attract new users.

Overall, The Lifeable app serves as an excellent example of how a user-focused approach can lead to the development of a successful mobile application.
